Nestled between the ridge and the river, The Grey Heron House takes full advantage of outstanding views of the Toccoa, and has the best of indoor and outdoor living.
The Grey Heron House living room offers plenty of opportunity to relax. Sink into the soft leather furniture and watch TV or a movie on the large wall-mounted Plasma TV. For the quieter times, enjoy an evening by the fire of the wood burning fireplace. The terrace level features a pool table, wet bar, second refrigerator, and a seven person hot tub just outside on the deck.
The Grey Heron House has a kitchen suitable for a gourmet cook; with all stainless steel appliances, including a 5 burner gas cook top, double ovens, two dishwashers, and ample counter space, you'll have plenty of room to spread out and cook that perfect vacation meal.
Adjacent to the kitchen is the huge screened porch with a stainless gas grill. Be sure to spend an evening on the porch in the cool mountain air, enjoying a family barbecue and the amazing views.
The large master bedroom is on the main level, and has direct access to the screened porch. The master bath has a separate shower with three heads, and whirlpool tub.
The Grey Heron House's upper level offers an absolutely breathtaking view of the mountains and Toccoa River (you can see over a mile of the river). The upper level has three additional bedrooms, a large bathroom, and a den with a large TV.
We are pleased to offer direct bookings, or if you prefer you can book with Airbnb or VRBO.
A minimum two night stay is required (5 for holidays). The Off Night rate is $200 per night; the Peak Night rate (Friday/Saturday, all nights during a holiday stay, and all nights in June, July, August, and October) is $250 per night. These prices cover up to 4 guests; each additional guest is $15 per night. No charge applies to children under 3 years of age. Additional fees apply for day-guests and campers (not admitted without prior approval).
There is a $25 per night pet fee for each approved pet. A credit card deposit of $200 is required to secure a reservation (refundable up to 30 days in advance of check-in, minus a $75 administrative fee). A housekeeping fee of $200 is also added to each reservation, along with a municipal lodging tax.
Check-in time is 4PM. Check-out time is 11AM.
